BanditWork operates AI-powered voice services for businesses across many industries. This page explains how we use SMS messaging, what consent looks like, and how to opt out at any time.
Who we are

How consent is collected
BanditWork's voice services answer phone calls on behalf of business clients. When a caller speaks with the AI assistant and explicitly requests an SMS follow-up — for example, by saying "text me the address," "send me a confirmation," or "text me the link" — the caller verbally provides their mobile number and confirms they want to receive an SMS at that number.
The AI assistant confirms the phone number aloud before sending any message. This verbal confirmation during the call is the caller's express opt-in consent to receive a one-time or transactional SMS related to their call.
BanditWork does not send unsolicited SMS. We do not send marketing or promotional messages. We do not share opted-in numbers with third parties.
What messages you may receive
If you opt in during a call, you may receive one or more of the following message types, related only to your call:
- Address, directions, or location details for the business you called
- Confirmations or summaries of items discussed during your call
- Links or contact information you specifically requested
- Follow-up information from the human staff member you were transferred to, if applicable
Message frequency
Message frequency is transactional and tied directly to your call. You will typically receive one to three messages per call interaction, only when you have specifically requested information by SMS. We do not send recurring or scheduled messages.
Costs
Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile carrier and plan. BanditWork does not charge you for these messages. Standard carrier charges from your wireless provider may apply.
Opting out and getting help
To stop receiving messages at any time, reply STOP to any message you receive from us. You will receive a single confirmation message acknowledging your opt-out, and we will not send you further messages from that program.

Supported carriers
BanditWork's SMS service is available on all major U.S. wireless carriers, including AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon, and most regional carriers. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Privacy
Phone numbers and message content are stored only as needed to deliver the service and maintain a record of the call. We do not sell or share your phone number with advertisers or unrelated third parties. For full details, see our Privacy Policy.
Changes to this disclosure
We may update this page from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent version. Continued use of the service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
